Communication systems for meters - Wireless mesh networking for meter data exchange - Part 3: Energy profile specification dedicated application layer

This European Standard specifies the application layer of a communication protocol for the exchange of data from metering devices to other devices within a mesh network. This European Standard makes reference to a number of documents whereby core requirements are specified. This referencing is in compliance with the Bridge Consortium and additionally the Memorandum of Understanding between the ZigBee Alliance and CEN/CENELEC.
The EN 16836 series represents a feature subset of a larger standard and as such not all of the features specified in the referenced documents are specified in this standard, due to some features being outside the scope of CEN/TC 294. Where this is the case the out of scope feature has either been omitted or specified as excluded.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anwendungsschicht eines Kommunikationsprotokolls für den Datenaustausch zwischen Zählern und anderen Geräten in einem Mesh Netzwerk fest. Diese Europäische Norm verweist auf eine Reihe von Dokumenten, in denen Kernanforderungen festgelegt sind. Diese Verweisung steht in Übereinstimmung mit dem Bridge Consortium sowie der Absichtserklärung zwischen der ZigBee Alliance und CEN/CENELEC.
Die Normenreihe EN 16836 stellt eine Teilmenge von Merkmalen eines umfassenderen Standards dar; da einige Merkmale außerhalb des Anwendungsbereichs von CEN/TC 294 liegen, sind daher nicht alle in den entsprechenden Dokumenten festgelegten Merkmale auch in dieser Norm festgelegt. La présente Norme européenne spécifie la couche d’application d'un protocole de communication pour l'échange de données entre des dispositifs de comptage et d'autres dispositifs dans un réseau maillé. La présente norme fait référence à un certain nombre de documents dans lesquels sont spécifiées les exigences essentielles. La référence à ces documents est conforme à la procédure « lien avec les consortiums » (Consortium Bridge) ainsi qu'au protocole d'accord (MoU) entre l'Alliance ZigBee et le CEN/CENELEC.
La série EN XXXX représente un sous-ensemble de caractéristiques d'une norme plus étendue. De ce fait, les caractéristiques spécifiées dans les documents de référence ne sont pas toutes mentionnées dans la présente norme car certaines d'entre elles ne relèvent pas du domaine d'application du CEN/TC 294. Si c'est le cas, la caractéristique ne relevant pas du domaine d'application est soit omise, soit mentionnée comme exclue.

Ta evropski standard se sklicuje na številne dokumente, v katerih so določene glavne zahteve. EN 16836-3:2016 (E) 4 Introduction The EN 16836 series of standards details requirements for gas meters, water meters and heat meters that can interoperate with products in a mesh network that conform to this standard through a smart energy profile application layer. This standard refers to documents made freely available by the ZigBee Alliance, an organization which manages a mesh network specification (see www.zigbee.org/about/centc294). This series of standards specifies how a mesh networking radio specification applies within the scope of European standards at the application layer, networking layer and also medium access control/physical layer (MAC/PHY).
