Quality Evaluation Method for the Sound Field of Directional Loudspeaker Array System (IEC 62777:2016)

This International Standard applies to directional loudspeaker array systems of any kind, and
to the parts of which they are composed or which are used as auxiliaries in such systems.
This standard deals with the determination of the performance of directional loudspeaker
array systems, the comparison of these system types, and the determination of their proper
practical application, by listing the characteristics which are useful for their specification. It
specifies uniform measurement methods for these characteristics.
This standard is restricted to a description of the audio space around a person and the
relevant method of measurement. It does not consider characteristics of loudspeakers, which
are specified in IEC 60268-5.

L'IEC 62777:2016 s'applique à tous les types de systèmes de haut-parleurs directionnels, et aux parties dont ils sont composés ou qui sont utilisées comme auxiliaires dans ces systèmes.
La présente norme se rapporte à la détermination des performances des systèmes de haut-parleurs directionnels, à la comparaison de ces types de systèmes et à la détermination de leur application pratique respective, en dressant la liste des caractéristiques utiles pour leur spécification. Elle définit des méthodes de mesure uniformes pour ces caractéristiques.
La présente norme se limite à une description de l'espace audio qui entoure une personne et à la méthode de mesure correspondante. Elle ne considère pas les caractéristiques des haut-parleurs, qui sont spécifiées dans l'IEC 60268-5.

Ta mednarodni standard se uporablja za usmerjene sestave zvočnikov vseh vrst in za dele, iz katerih so ti sestavljeni ali ki se uporabljajo kot pomožni deli v takšnih sistemih. Ta standard obravnava ugotavljanje delovanja usmerjenih sestavov zvočnikov, primerjavo teh vrst sestavov in ugotavljanje njihove praktične uporabe z navedbo lastnosti, ki so uporabne za njihove specifikacije. Določa enotne merilne metode za te lastnosti. Ta standard je omejen na opis zvočnega prostora okoli osebe in ustrezno metodo merjenja. Ne obravnava lastnosti zvočnikov, ki so opredeljene v standardu IEC 60268-5.

FOREWORD 1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees).
