Low-voltage electrical installations - Part 7-721: Requirements for special installations or locations - Electrical installations in caravans and motor caravans
The particular requirements of this part of IEC 60364 apply to electrical installations in
caravans and motor caravans.
They apply to those electrical circuits and equipment intended for the use of the caravan for
habitation purposes.
They do not apply to those electrical circuits and equipment for automotive purposes.
They do not apply to the electrical installations of mobile homes, residential park homes and
transportable units.
NOTE 1 For mobile homes and residential park homes the general requirements apply.
NOTE 2 For transportable units see IEC 60364-7-717.
NOTE 3 For the purposes of this document, caravans and motor caravans are referred to as “caravans”
The particular requirements of some parts from the IEC 60364-7 series can also apply to such
installations in caravans, for example IEC 60364-7-701.

Nizkonapetostne električne inštalacije - 7-721. del: Zahteve za posebne inštalacije ali lokacije - Električne inštalacije v počitniških prikolicah in avtodomih
Posebne zahteve tega dela standarda IEC 60364 se uporabljajo za električne inštalacije v počitniških prikolicah in avtodomih.
Uporabljajo se za električna vezja in opremo, predvidena za uporabo v počitniških prikolicah, namenjenih za bivanje.
Ne uporabljajo se za električna vezja in opremo, namenjena za avtomobile.
Ne uporabljajo se za električne inštalacije v mobilnih hišicah, hišicah v avtokampih in prevoznih enotah.
OPOMBA 1: Za mobilne hišice in hišice v avtokampih veljajo splošne zahteve.
OPOMBA 2: Za prevozne enote glej standard IEC 60364-7-717.
OPOMBA 3: Za namene tega dokumenta so počitniške prikolice in avtodomi imenovani »bivalne prikolice«.
Za take namestitve v bivalnih prikolicah lahko veljajo posebne zahteve nekaterih delov skupine standardov IEC 60364-7, na primer standarda IEC 60364-7-701.

The text of document 64/2200/FDIS, future edition 2 of IEC 60364-7-721, prepared by IEC/TC 64 "Electrical
installations and protection against electrical shock" was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and
approved by CENELEC as HD 60364-7-721:2019.
A draft amendment, which covers common modifications to IEC 60364-7-721 (64/2200/FDIS), was prepared
by CLC/TC 64 "Electrical installations and protection against electric shock" and approved by CENELEC.
The following dates are fixed:
• latest date by which this document has (dop) 2019-12-17
to be implemented at national level by
publication of an identical national
standard or by endorsement
• latest date by which the national (dow) 2021-12-17
standards conflicting with this document
have to be withdrawn
This document supersedes HD 60364-7-721:2009.
