Wood-based panels - Characteristic values for structural design - Part 3: Solid-wood panels

This European Standard provides information on the characteristic values for use in designing structures incorporating wood-based panels. The characteristic values given are as defined in EN 1995-1-1.
This standard includes the characteristic values of the mechanical properties and of the raw density for solid-wood panels complying with EN 13353.

Diese Europäische Norm gibt Informationen über charakteristische Werte für die Berechnung und Bemessung
von Bauwerken, in denen Holzwerkstoffe eingesetzt werden. Die angegebenen charakteristischen Werte
entsprechen den Definitionen in EN 1995-1-1.
Diese Norm enthält die charakteristischen Werte der mechanischen Eigenschaften und der Rohdichte von
Massivholzplatten der technischen Klassen SWP/1S, SWP/2S und SWP/3S nach EN 13353:2008.

EN 12369-3:2008 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 12369-3:2008) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 112 “Wood-based panels”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2009, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by May 2009. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights.
