Cheese and processed cheese products - Determination of chloride content - Potentiometric titration method (ISO 5943:2004)

This International Standard specifies a  potentiometric titration method for the  determination of the chloride content of  cheese and processed cheese products.  The method is applicable to all cheeses and  processed cheese products containing  more than 0, 2 % (mass fraction) of chloride  ion.

enthalten, anwendbar.

The text of ISO 5943:2004 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 34 "Agricultural
food products” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken
over as EN ISO 5943:2006 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 302 "Milk and milk products -
Methods of sampling and analysis", the secretariat of which is held by NEN.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by July 2006, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by July 2006.

According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium,
Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary,

Foreword
