This document specifies the required characteristics, inspections and tests, quality assurance, conditions for qualification, acceptance and delivery of rod-ends with self-aligning bearings metal to metal designed to withstand slight swivelling under load. They are intended for use in fixed or moving parts of the aircraft structure and their control mechanisms.
This document applies to all rod-ends with self-aligning bearings metal to metal. It may be applied when referred to in a product standard or in a design specification.

Dieses Dokument legt die erforderlichen Eigenschaften, Inspektionen, Prüfverfahren, Qualitätssicherungen und Anforderungen an die Qualifikations , Annahme  und Lieferbedingungen für Ösenköpfe mit Gelenklagern, Metall auf Metall, die darauf ausgelegt sind, einem leichten Schwenken unter Last standzuhalten, fest. Sie sind für die Verwendung in starren oder beweglichen Flugwerkteilen und deren Betätigungsmechanismen bestimmt.
Dieses Dokument ist anzuwenden für alle Ösenköpfe mit Gelenklagern, Metall auf Metall. Es kann angewendet werden, wenn in der Produktnorm oder in Planungsunterlagen auf das Dokument verwiesen wird.

Ils sont destinés à être utilisés pour les parties fixes ou mobiles de la structure de l’aéronef et leurs mécanismes de commande.

1 Scope
This document specifies the required characteristics, inspections and test methods, quality assurance,
conditions for qualification, acceptance and delivery of rod-ends with self-aligning bearings metal to
metal designed to withstand slight swivelling under load. They are intended for use in fixed or moving
parts of the aircraft structure and their control mechanisms.
This document is applicable to all rod-ends with self-aligning bearings metal to metal. It may be applied
when referred to in a product standard or in a design specification.
