This International Standard specifies  requirements for the Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC)  Outside Plant (OSP) Physical (PHY) Layer  Specification. This specification is part of the  suite of specifications developed to support  the design and implementation of  interoperable management systems for  evolving HFC cable networks.
