Reinforcement - Specifications for multi-axial multi-ply fabrics - Part 1: Designation

This part 1 of EN 13473 establishes a method of designation for multi-axial multi-ply fabrics which shall be used for specifications for the reinforcement of materials. The method of designation defines the structure of the multi-axial multi-ply construction and the binding system.
This designation system applies to multi-axial multi-ply fabrics made of reinforcement yarns, tows, rovings, fibre fleeces, films, foams or other materials which are intended to provide reinforcement in composite materials and which is bound to a multi-ply construction.
The designation of a multi-axial multi-ply fabric is structured in a product of multi-axial multi-ply fabrics. It is not intended that this hierarchy takes into account all the attributes of individual multi-axial multi-ply fabrics. Therefore multi-axial multi-ply fabrics having the same designation do not give necessarily the same performance. This part 1 of EN 13473 does not give engineering data, performance data or data which may be required to specify multi-axial multi-ply fabrics for a particular application or method of processing. If such additional properties are required they have to be determined in accordance with the test methods specified in EN 13473-2.

Anwendungsbereich
Diese Norm führt ein Bezeichnungssystem für Multiaxialgelege ein, die zur Verstärkung von Werkstoffen
eingesetzt werden. Dieses Bezeichnungssystem beschreibt den strukturellen Aufbau des Multiaxialgeleges,
bestehend aus Lagenkonstruktion und Fixierungssystem.
Dieses Bezeichnungssystem findet Anwendung für Multiaxialgelege aus Verstärkungsgarnen, Werggarnen,
Rovings, Faservliesen, Folien, Schäumen oder anderen Materialien, die für die Verstärkung von Materialien
verwendet werden und die zu einer mehrlagigen Konstruktion verbunden sind.
Die Bezeichnung der Multiaxialgelege ermöglicht eine Produktbeschreibung. Es ist nicht beabsichtigt, dass
diese Beschreibung alle Eigenschaften der Multiaxialgelege berücksichtigt. Daher können Multiaxialgelege mit
derselben Bezeichnung unterschiedliche Eigenschaften vorweisen. Dieser Teil 1 der EN 13473 enthält keine
technischen Daten, Leistungsdaten oder Verarbeitungsbedingungen, die zur Beschreibung eines Multiaxial-geleges
für bestimmte Anwendungen und/oder Verarbeitungsverfahren erforderlich sind. Wenn zusätzliche
Eigenschaften verlangt werden, müssen diese in Übereinstimmung mit den beschriebenen Prüfverfahren nach
EN 13473-2 ermittelt werden.

Renfort - Spécifications pour les tissus multi-axiaux multicouches - Partie 1: Désignation

Domaine d'application
Cette partie de la Norme EN 13473 établit une méthode de désignation des tissus multicouches multi-axiaux qui doit etre utilisée dans le cadre des spécifications pour le renfort de matériaux. La méthode de désignation définit la structure de l'assemblage multicouche-multi-axial et du systeme de liaison.
Ce systeme de désignation s'applique aux tissus multicouches-multi-axiaux réalisés a partir de fils de renfort, meches, rovings, voiles fibreux, films, mousses ou d'autres matériaux destinés a renforcer les matériaux composites et qui sont liés a une structure multicouche.
La désignation d'un tissu multicouche-multi-axial est conçue sous forme d'une hiérarchie de produits multi-axiaux multicouches. Il n'est pas question ici de détailler cette hiérarchie pour prendre en compte chacun des attributs des tissus multicouches multi-axiaux. De ce fait, des tissus multicouches multi-axiaux ayant la meme désignation n'auront pas nécessairement les memes performances. Cette partie de l'EN 13473 ne fournit pas les données techniques, de performances ou autres, qui peuvent etre exigées pour spécifier des tissus multicouches multi-axiaux dans le cadre d'une application ou d'une mise en ?uvre particuliere. Lorsque de telles caractéristiques complémentaires sont exigées, elles doivent etre déterminées conformément aux méthodes d'essai spécifiées dans l'EN 13473-2.
