Ethanol as a blending component for petrol - Determination of water content - Karl Fischer coulometric titration method

This European Standard specifies a method for the direct determination of water in ethanol to be used in gasoline blends. It is applicable to ethanol having water contents in the range 0,039 % (m/m) to 0,5 % (m/m).
NOTE   For the purposes of this document, the term “% (m/m)” is used to represent the mass fraction.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur direkten Bestimmung von Wasser in Ethanol zur Verwendung als Blendkomponente in Ottokraftstoff. Es ist für Ethanol mit einem Wassergehalt im Bereich von 0,02 % (m/m) bis 0,5 % (m/m) anwendbar.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit une méthode de détermination de la teneur en eau dans l’éthanol utilisé comme constituant d’essence pour automobiles. Elle s’applique aux échantillons d’éthanol dont la teneur en eau est comprise entre 0,039 % (m/m) et 0,500 % (m/m).
NOTE   Pour les besoins du présent document, le terme « % (m/m) » représente la fraction massique.
