This European Standard specifies a method for determination of low temperature properties of coated fabrics. This method is only considered suitable for materials which can, at room temperature, be easily bent into the configuration required by the test damage to the specimen determined by a test carried out a room temperature.

Die vorliegende Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften beschichteter Textilien bei tiefen Temperaturen fest. Dieses Verfahren ist nur für Materialien geeignet, die bei Raumtemperatur leicht und ohne Beschädigung des Probekörpers in die für die Prüfung verlangte Schlaufenform gebogen werden können. Dieses wird durch eine Prüfung bei Raumtemperatur festgestellt.

La présente norme spécifie une méthode pour déterminer les propriétés a basse température des supports textiles revetus. On considere cette méthode comme convenable seulement pour les matériaux qui, a la température ordinaire, peuvent facilement etre pliés dans la configuration requise pour l'essai sans dommage pour l'éprouvette, ce que l'on vérifiera par un essai a la température ordinaire.
