This part of ISO 2286 specifies methods of determining the total mass per unit area, the mass per unit
area of the coating and the mass per unit area of the substrate cloth of a rubber- or plastics-coated
fabric. Methods for removing coatings of specific compositions are described in Annex A.

This document (EN ISO 2286-2:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 “Rubber
and rubber products” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile
products” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2017, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by April 2017.

Einleitung
Die flächenbezogene Gesamtmasse eines Materials, die flächenbezogene Masse des Trägergewebes und
die flächenbezogene Masse der Beschichtung bestimmen grundlegend die Qualität und viele physikalische
Eigenschaften beschichteter Textilien. Die nach den in dieser Norm beschriebenen Verfahren ermittelte
flächenbezogene Masse des Trägergewebes entspricht nicht notwendigerweise der flächenbezogenen Masse
des Trägergewebes im unbeschichteten Zustand. Beispielsweise kann für den Träger eines beschichteten
Gewebes, bei dem ein Bindemittel verwendet wurde, eine wesentlich höhere flächenbezogene Masse
ermittelt werden als bei unbeschichtetem Gewebe, weil bei der vorgeschriebenen Behandlung die
Beschichtung nicht vollständig entfernt wurde. Das trifft besonders für Trägergewebe aus Multifil- oder
Spinnfasergarnen zu. Es ist zu beachten, dass sich bei der Verarbeitung auch die Maße des Trägergewebes
verändern können.

1 Anwendungsbereich
Dieser Teil der ISO 2286 legt Verfahren zur Bestimmung der flächenbezogenen Gesamtmasse, der
flächenbezogenen Masse der Beschichtung und der flächenbezogenen Masse des Trägers von mit
Kautschuk oder Kunststoff beschichteten Textilien fest. Verfahren zum Entfernen einer Beschichtung mit einer
spezifischen Zusammensetzung sind im Anhang A beschrieben.
