Rubber- or plastics coated fabrics - Determination of resistance to water penetration - Low pressure method
This standard specifies a method for the determination of the resistance of rubber or plastic coated fabrics to water penetration (hydrostatic resistance) when subjected to a specific hydrostatic pressure over a fixed period of time. Two test specimen sizes are given, one is circular, the other square.

Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Wasserdichtheit von mit Kautschuk oder Kunststoff beschichteten Textilien (hydrostatischer Widerstand) fest, wenn sie eine festgelegte Zeit einem bestimmten hydrostatischen Druck ausgezetzt werden. Es werden zwei unterschiedlich große Probekörper festgelegt, von denen einer kreisförmig, der andere quadratisch ist.

Cette norme spécifie une méthode pour la détermination de la résistance a la pénétration de l'eau d'un support textile revetu de caoutchouc ou de plastique (résistance hydrostatique), quand il est soumis a une pression hydrostatique spécifiée pendant un temps déterminé. Deux types d'éprouvettes sont donnés: l'un circulaire, l'autre carré.
