Stationary training equipment - Part 7: Rowing machines, additional specific safety requirements and test methods
This part of EN 957 specifies safety requirements for rowing machines in addition to the general safety requirements of EN 957-1 and should be read in conjunction with it. This part of EN 957 is applicable to stationary training equipment type rowing machines (type 7), hereinafter referred to as rowing machines, within the classes S and H and class A regarding accuracy. If accessories are provided with the rowing machine for the performance of additional exercises these are subject to the requirements of EN 957-1 and any other specific requirements of the appropriate part of this standard.

Dieser Teil der EN 957 legt sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen an Rudergeräte zusätzlich zu den allgemeinen sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen nach EN 957-1 fest und sollte in Verbindung damit gelesen werden. Dieser Teil der En 957 gilt für stationäre Trainingsgeräte vom Typ Rudergeräte (Typ 7), im folgen- den als Rudergeräte bezeichnet, der Klassen S und H und Klasse A hinsichtlich Fehlergrenzen.

La présente partie de l'EN 957 s'applique aux rameurs de type appareils d'entraînement fixes (type 7), ci-apres appelés "rameurs", des classes S et H et de classe de précision A.
