Oilseed meals - Determination of soluble proteins in potassium hydroxide solution (ISO 14244:2014)

This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of soluble proteins in potassium hydroxide solution in soya meals, rapeseed meals and sunflower pellets, which are then assayed using the Kjeldahl method as specified in ISO 5983-1 and ISO 5983-2.

the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 14244:2016
by Technical Committee CEN/TC 307 “Oilseeds, vegetable and animal fats and oils and their by-
products - Methods of sampling and analysis” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2017, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2017.
