Industrial valves - Protective caps for valves with flanged connections
This European Standard specifies protective caps for flanged valves with and without internal coating.
The use of protective caps according to this European Standard is limited to the protection during transport and
storage to prevent:
the entry of dirt;
the damage of the connecting surfaces.
The protective caps do not protect against the consequences of improper handling.
This European Standard does not apply to protective caps for valves and pipe fittings with welded and threaded
ends.
NOTE It is possible to use these protective caps with flanged components other than valves.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Schutzkappen für Armaturen mit Flanschanschluss mit und ohne Auskleidung
fest.
Die Verwendung von Schutzkappen nach dieser Europäischen Norm ist begrenzt auf den Schutz während
Versand und Lagerung, um
⎯ das Eindringen von Verunreinigungen;
⎯ eine Beschädigung der Anschlussflächen
zu verhindern.
Die Schutzkappen bieten keinen Schutz gegen die Folgen unsachgemäßer Handhabung.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Schutzkappen für Armaturen und Rohrleitungsteile mit Schweiß- und
Gewindeenden.
ANMERKUNG Es ist gestattet, diese Schutzkappen an anderen Teilen mit Flanschen als Armaturen anzuwenden.
Robinetterie industrielle - Bouchons protecteurs pour les appareils de robinetterie à raccordements à brides
La présente Norme européenne spécifie des bouchons protecteurs pour les appareils de robinetterie à
raccordements à brides, dotés ou non d’un revêtement intérieur.
Dans la présente Norme européenne, l’utilisation d’un bouchon protecteur se limite à la protection pendant le
transport et le stockage afin d’empêcher :
⎯ la pénétration d’impuretés ;
⎯ la détérioration des surfaces de raccordement.
Les bouchons protecteurs ne protègent pas des conséquences de manipulations incorrectes.
La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas aux raccordements de tuyauteries à extrémités filetées ou
à embouts à souder.
NOTE Il est possible d’utiliser ces bouchons protecteurs avec d’autres composants à extrémités à brides différents
des appareils de robinetterie.
Industrijski ventili - Zaščitni pokrovi za prirobnične ventile
Ta evropski standard določa zaščitne pokrove za prirobnične ventile z notranjo prevleko in brez nje.
Uporaba zaščitnih pokrovov v skladu s tem evropskim standardom je omejena na zaščito med prevozom in shranjevanjem, da se prepreči: vstop umazanije; poškodba povezovalnih površin.
Zaščitni pokrovi ne ščitijo pred posledicami neustreznega ravnanja.
Ta evropski standard ne velja za zaščitne pokrove za ventile in cevne fitinge z varjenimi in navojnimi konci.
OPOMBA: Ti zaščitni pokrovi se lahko uporabljajo s prirobnimi komponentami, ki niso ventili.
