Chemicals used for treatment of swimming pool water - Sodium hypochlorite

This European Standard is applicable to sodium hypochlorite used directly or for the production of formulations for treating swimming pool water. It describes the characteristics of sodium hypochlorite and specifies the requirements and the corresponding test methods for sodium hypochlorite. It gives information on its use for treating swimming pool water and determines the rules relating to safe handling and use of sodium hypochlorite (see Annex B).

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Natriumhypochlorit, das direkt zur Aufbereitung von Schwimm  und Bade¬beckenwasser oder zum Herstellen von Zubereitungen für diesen Zweck verwendet wird. Sie beschreibt die Eigenschaften von Natriumhypochlorit und legt die Anforderungen sowie die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren für Natriumhypochlorit fest. Sie enthält Angaben zur Anwendung von Natriumhypochlorit in der Aufbereitung von Schwimm- und Badebeckenwasser und legt Regeln für die sichere Handhabung und Verwendung von Natriumhypochlorit fest (siehe Anhang B).

La présente Norme européenne est applicable à l'hypochlorite de sodium utilisé directement ou pour préparer des formulations pour traiter l’eau des piscines. Elle décrit les caractéristiques de l’hypochlorite de sodium et spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d’essais correspondantes applicables à l’hypochlorite de sodium. Elle donne des informations sur son utilisation pour traiter l’eau des piscines. Elle fixe également les règles relatives à la sécurité d’emploi et de manipulation (voir Annexe B).

Podaja informacije za uporabo natrijevega hipoklorita pri pripravi bazenske vode in določa pravila za varno ravnanje in uporabo (glej dodatek B).

EN 15077:2013 (E) 4 Foreword This document (EN 15077:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 164 “Water supply”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2013. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights.
