Methods of test for dense shaped refractory products - Part 3: Test methods for carbon-containing refractories
This European standard specifies methods of test for refractory products based on oxides and containing carbon. The carbon may be added in an elemental form such as graphite, or as carbonaceous materials such as pitch, tar or resin.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Prüfverfahren für feuerfeste Erzeugnisse, die sich aus Oxiden und Kohlenstoff zusammensetzen, fest. Der Kohlenstoff kann elementar, wie z.B. als Graphit, oder als kohlenstoffartiger Stoff, wie z.B. Pech, Teer oder Hartz, vorliegen.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les méthodes d'essai applicables aux produits réfractaires essentiellement composés d'oxydes et contenant du carbone. Le carbone peut etre ajouté sous forme élémentaire tel que le graphite ou en tant que matériaux carbonés, tel que brai, goudron ou résine.
