Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been
established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and
non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.
The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards
adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an
International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. ISO shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
ISO 113 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 4, Rolling bearings.
This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (ISO 113:1999), of which it constitutes a minor
revision, incorporating updated references and terminology, as well as the addition of an (informative) annex
giving additional boundary dimensions.

1 Scope
This International Standard specifies boundary dimensions for two-bolt plummer block housings primarily
intended for rolling bearings in diameter series 0, 1, 2 and 3, as specified in ISO 15, and for four-bolt plummer
block housings primarily intended for rolling bearings in diameter series 0, 1 and 2.

L'ISO (Organisation internationale de normalisation) est une fédération mondiale d'organismes nationaux de
normalisation (comités membres de l'ISO). L'élaboration des Normes internationales est en général confiée
aux comités techniques de l'ISO. Chaque comité membre intéressé par une étude a le droit de faire partie du
comité technique créé à cet effet. Les organisations internationales, gouvernementales et non
gouvernementales, en liaison avec l'ISO participent également aux travaux. L'ISO collabore étroitement avec
la Commission électrotechnique internationale (CEI) en ce qui concerne la normalisation électrotechnique.

1 Domaine d'application
La présente Norme internationale spécifie les dimensions d'encombrement des paliers à deux vis de fixation
destinés principalement aux roulements des séries de diamètres 0, 1, 2 et 3, tels que définis dans l'ISO 15, et
des paliers à quatre vis de fixation destinés principalement aux roulements des séries de diamètres 0, 1 et 2.
