This part of ISO 1833 specifies a method, using acetone, to determine the percentage of acetate, after removal of non-fibrous matter, in textiles made of binary mixtures of ? acetate and ? wool, animal hair, silk, regenerated protein, cotton (scoured, kiered, or bleached), flax, hemp, jute, abaca, alfa, coir, broom, ramie, cupro, viscose, modal, polyamide, polyester, acrylic and glass fibres. It is not applicable to mixtures containing modacrylic fibres, nor to mixtures containing acetate fibres that have been deacetylated on the surface.

In diesem Teil der ISO 1833 wird ein Acetat Verfahren zur Bestimmung des prozentualen Anteils an Acetat, nach dem Abtrennen der nichtfaserigen Begleitstoffe, in Textilien aus binären Fasermischungen aus
- Acetat
und
- Wolle, Tierhaar, Seide, regenerierte Proteinfaser, Baumwolle (entschlichtet, gebeucht oder gebleicht), Leinen, Hanf, Jute, Abaka, Alfa, Kokosfaser, Ginster, Ramie, Cupro, Viskose, Modal, Polyamid, Polyester, Polyacryl und Glasfaser
festgelegt.
Das Verfahren ist weder auf Mischungen anwendbar, die Modacrylfasern enthalten, noch auf Mischungen, die Acetatfasern enthalten, die auf der Oberfläche entacetyliert wurden.

L'ISO 1833-3:2006 spécifie une méthode de détermination, à l'acétone, du pourcentage d'acétate, après élimination des matières non fibreuses, dans les textiles composés de mélanges binaires d'acétate et de laine, poils, soie, protéines régénérées, coton (lavé, débouilli ou blanchi), lin, chanvre, jute, fibre d'abaca, alfa, fibre de coco, fibres de genêt, ramie, cupro, viscose, modal, polyamide, polyester, acrylique et fibres de verre.
L'ISO 1833-3:2006 ne s'applique pas aux mélanges contenant des fibres modacryliques ni à des mélanges contenant des fibres d'acétate ayant été désacétylées en surface.

Ta del standarda ISO 1833 določa metodo z uporabo acetona za ugotavljanje odstotne vrednosti acetata po odstranitvi nevlakenske snovi v tekstilijah iz dvokomponentnih mešanic - acetata in - volne, živalskih vlaken, svile, regeneriranih proteinskih vlaken, bombaža (izkuhanega, razškrobljenega ali beljenega), lanu, konoplje, jute, abake, lucerne, kokosa, relike, bele koprive, kupro vlaken, viskoznih, modalnih vlaken, poliamidnih, poliestrskih, akrilnih in steklenih vlaken. Metoda ni uporabna za mešanice z modakrilnimi vlakni in za mešanice, ki vsebujejo površinsko dezacetilirana acetatna vlakna.

The text of ISO 1833-3:2006 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38 “Textiles” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 1833-3:2010 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by April 2011.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
