Standardization programme - European Standards in the field of Construction products as defined by the Directive 89/106/EEC
This CEN Report is intended to provide a global view of the programme of work of CEN for the production of European Standards that are likely to correspond to the Requirements of one or more of the 33 Mandates issued to CEN in 1992 with the approval of the Standing Committee of the Directive 891106 and of the Directive 83/189. These 33 Mandates cover the whole area of Building and Civil Engineering. It presents lists of Technical Specifications - European Standards on products as placed on the market and the supporting standards - test or validation methods -that demonstrate the relation between the specification and one or more of the Essential Requirements of the Directive 89/106 as expanded in the Interpretative Documents made available in July 1993.
It does not include the technical specifications of the products that are covered by other ‘New approach Directives’ nor the Low Voltage Directive.
