Fibre-cement flat sheets - Product specifications and test methods

The European standard specifies the technical requirements and establishes methods of inspection and test as well as acceptance conditions for fibre-cement flat sheets, siding shingles and planks (later referred to as sheets) having an apparent density greater than 1,0 kg/dm3 for one or more of the following uses: - internal wall and ceiling finishes; - external wall and ceiling finishes; - roofing underlayers. This standard covers sheets reinforced with fibres of different types as specified in 5.1.1. This standard does not cover sheets designed for fire protection purposes.

Faserzement-Tafeln - Produktspezifikationen und Prüfverfahren

Diese Europäische Norm regelt die technischen Anforderungen an Faserzement-Tafeln mit einer Rohdichte größer als 1,0 kg/dm3 für eine oder mehrere der folgenden Anwendungen: - interne Wand- und Deckenverkleidungen; - externe Wand- und Deckenverkleidungen; - Unterdachplatten, und legt Verfahren zur Kontrolle und Prüfung sowie Abnahmebedingungen fest. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Tafeln, die speziell für den Brandschutz vorgesehen sind.

Cette norme européenne spécifie les exigences techniques et détermines les mé- thodes de contrôle et d'essai ainsi que les conditions d'acceptation pour les plaques planes en fibres-ciment, bardeaux et clins, dénommés ci-apres "plaques", ayant une masse volumique apparente supérieure a 1,0 kg/dm3 pour les applications suivantes: - Revetements intérieurs pour murs et plafonds, - Revetements extérieurs pour murs et plafonds, - Sous toiture. Cette norme s'applique aux plaques renforcées par des fibres de différents types comme spécifié en 5.1.1..

This document specifies a test method for pull through and shear resistance of fibre-cement flat sheets for roofing and cladding.
The results are also applicable for:
-   Coated or uncoated sheets manufactured at the same production facility as the tested sheets.
-   The test method can be applied to textured or non-textured fibre-cement flat sheets. The results of non-textured sheets are only applicable for textured sheets if the nominal minimum thickness of the textured sheet is at least the nominal thickness of the non-textured sheet.
-   The same type of fixing head or washer assembly where applicable if the diameter of the fixing head or washer is 0 mm to 2 mm larger than in the test.
-   The Shore A hardness of the sealing washer, where applicable, is ± 5 that of the washer used in the test.
-   The diameter of the drilled hole through the fibre cement sheet is 0 mm to 2 mm smaller than in the test, providing there is the required clearance hole around the shank of the fastener.
