Construction products - Assessment of release of dangerous substances - Content of organic substances - Methods for extraction and analysis

This Technical Specification specifies existing methods for the determination of the content of non-volatile organic substances in construction products.
Covered substances are phenols, PAH, PCB, phthalates, PBDE, organotin, dioxin and furans, biocides and plant protection products.
The selection of the extraction, clean-up and analysis method(s) to be applied is based on the product matrix and the required sensitivity.

Dieses Dokument legt vorhandene Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Gehalts spezifischer organischer Stoffe in Bauprodukten fest.
Die folgenden Parameter sind abgedeckt: BTEX, Biozide, Dioxine, Furane und dioxinähnliche PCBs, Mineralöl, Nonylphenole, PAK, PCB, PCP, PBDE sowie kurzkettige Chlorparaffine.
ANMERKUNG 1   Sich noch in der Entwicklung befindliche oder ausschließlich auf nationaler Ebene vorhandene Verfahren sind für PFOS, PFOA, HBCD und EOX in Anhang B aufgeführt. Diese Verfahren können in den normativen Text aufgenommen werden, sobald die vollständigen EN Normen verfügbar sind.
ANMERKUNG 2   Verfahren, die für Bauprodukte nicht validiert wurden, da zum Zeitpunkt der Robustheitsvalidierung kein geeignetes Material verfügbar war, sind ausschließlich in Anhang B aufgeführt. Dies betrifft Organozinn-verbindungen, Phenole und Phthalate.
Die in diesem Dokument aufgeführten Verfahren stammen aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen und gelten als geeignet für organische Stoffe in organischen Extrakten aus allen Arten von Bauprodukten.
Die Verfahren in diesem Dokument sind für die in Anhang A aufgeführten Produkttypen validiert.
ANMERKUNG 3   Zu Bauprodukten zählen unter anderem mineralische Produkte, bituminöse Produkte, Holzprodukte, Polymerprodukte und Metalle. Diese Technische Spezifikation enthält analytische Verfahren für alle Matrices mit Ausnahme von Metallen.

Ta tehnična specifikacija določa obstoječe metode za določanje vsebnosti nehlapnih organskih snovi v gradbenih proizvodih.  Zajema naslednje substance: fenoli, PAH, PCB, ftalati, PBDE, organokositrove spojine, dioksini in furani, biocidi in izdelki za zaščito rastlin. Izbira metod za ekstrakcijo, čiščenje in analizo temelji na matrici izdelka in zahtevani občutljivosti.

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 11 February 2019 for provisional application.

The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to
submit their comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.

CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS
available promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in
parallel to the CEN/TS) until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
