Footwear - Test methods for insoles - Heel pin holding strength
This draft standard specifies a method to determines the ability of an insole component to hold a heel pin and to prevent its head from being pulled through the insole component. The method is applicable to insoles used in the seat of footwear with inside attached heels, and also to seat components where outside heel attachments are used and the heel pin is clenched.

Dieser Norm-Entwurf legt ein Verfahren für die Bestimmung der Fähigkeit eines Brandsohlenteils fest, einen Absatznagel zu halten und zu verhindern, daß der Nagelkopf durch das Brandsohlenteil gezogen wird. Dieses Verfahren ist anwendbar für Brandsohlen, die in der Formhaltung des Schuhs mit innen aufgenagelten Absätzen verwendet werden sowie für Formhaltungsteile, bei denen die Absätze außen aufgenagelt sind und der Absatznagel genietet wird.

La présente méthode est applicable d'une part, aux semelles premieres utilisées dans les emboîtages d'articles chaussants dont les talons sont fixés par l'intérieur, et d'autre part, aux emboîtages d'articles dont le talon est fixé par l'extérieur, le clou pour talon étant aplati.
