Hinged or pivoted doors - Determination of the resistance to static torsion
This European standard applies to all vertically hinged or pivoted doors. The standard specifies the method to be used to determine the permanent deformation caused when static stress in torsion is applied to an open door leaf fixed in its own door frame as part of a doorset. Note: Such torsional stresses that might reasonably be expected, such as in attempts to free a door which sticks, should neither damage nor impair the performance of a door.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für jede Drehflügeltür mit vertikaler Drehachse. Diese Norm beschreibt das Prüfverfahren zur Ermittlung der bleibenden Verformung beim Aufbringen einer stati-schen Belastung zum Verwinden eines geöffneten Türblattes, das als Teil eines Türelements in seiner Zarge befestigt ist. Anmerkung: Derartige Belastungen durch Verwindung, die zu erwarten sind beispielsweise beim Versuch, eine klemmende Tür zu öffnen, sollten weder an der Tür Beschädigungen hervorrufen noch die Gebrauchstauglichkeit der Tür beeinträchtigen.

Cette norme européenne s'applique a toutes les portes battantes ou pivotantes dans un plan vertical. Cette norme définit la méthode a utiliser pour déterminer la déformation permanente causée par une contrainte de torsion statique appliquée sur un vantail ouvert fixé dans son huisserie en tant qu'élément d'un bloc-porte. Note: Des contraintes de torsion, raisonnablement prévisibles, telles que la tentative de décoincer une porte, ne devraient ni endommager la porte, ni diminuer sa performance.
