Fibre-cement pipes for sewers and drains - Part 1: Pipes, joints and fittings for gravity systems

This part 1 of EN 588 specifies requirements for fibre-cement pipes, joints and fittings suitable for gravity systems at atmospheric pressure intended for sewerage and drainage applications. It is applicable only to the more commonly used fittings i.e. angled branches or tees and bends. It defines general composition, classification, geometrical, mechanical and physical characteristics, acceptance tests and type tests.

Dieser Teil 1 der EN 588 gilt für Faserzementrohre, Rohrverbindungen und Formstücke für Rohrleitungssysteme zum Transport von Misch-, Schmutz-, und Regenwasser unter atmosphärischem Druck. In dieser Norm werden nur die gebräuchlichsten Formstücke behandelt (Abzweige und Bogen). Dieser Teil 1 enthält Regelungen für die allgemeine Zusammensetzung, für die Klassifizierung, für geometrische Kenngrößen, mechanische und physikalische Eigenschaften, für Abnahme- und Typprüfungen.

Cette partie 1 de la EN 588 donne les spécifications relatives aux tuyaux, joints et accessoires en fibres-ciment pour les systemes gravitaires sous la pression atmosphérique, destinés aux branchements et a l'assainissement. Elle n'est applicable seulement qu'aux accessoires les plus usuels, c'est-a-dire les culottes et les tés ainsi que les coudes. Elle définit la composition générale, la classification, les caractéristiques géométriques, mécaniques et physiques, les essais d'acceptation et de qualification.
