Founding - Spheroidal graphite cast irons
This European Standard defines the grades and the corresponding requirements of spheroidal graphite cast iron. This European Standard specifies a classification based on mechanical properties measured on machined test pieces prepared from: - separately cast test samples; - cast-on samples; - samples cut from arom a casting. This European Standard also specifies a classification as a function of hardness. This standard does not apply to spheroidal graphite cast iron used for pipes, fitting and accessories which are the subject of EN 545, EN 598, EN 969 and ISO 2531.

Diese Europäische Norm definiert die Sorten und entsprechenden Anforderungen an Gußeisen mit Kugelgraphit. Diese Europäische Norm legt eine Einteilung nach den mechanischen Eigenschaften fest, die an bearbeiteten Proben, hergestellt aus - getrennt gegossenen Probestücken; - angegossenen Probestücken; - dem Gußstück entnommenen Probestücken; bestimmt werden. Diese Europäsche Norm legt ferner eine Einteilung in Abhängigkeit von der Härte fest. Die Norm gilt nicht für Rohre, Formstücke und Zubehörteile aus Gußeisen mit Kugelgraphit, die in EN 545, EN 598, EN 969 und ISO 2531 behandelt sind.

La présente norme européenne définit les nuances de fonte a graphite sphéroidal et les exigences correspondantes. La présente norme européenne spécifie une classification fondée sur des propriétés mécaniques mesurées sur des éprouvettes usinées, élaborées a partir: - d'échantillons coulés a part; - d'échantillons attenant aux pieces; - d'échantillons provenant d'une piece moulée. La présente norme européenne spécifie aussi une classification en fonction de la dureté.
