This document applies to transportable wall saws guided by a track guiding system intended
for dry cutting or to be connected to a liquid system for cutting concrete, stone or similar
material by means of a diamond wheel. The rated speed of the diamond wheel does not
exceed a peripheral speed of 100 m/s at rated capacity.
This document does not apply to transportable wall saws that are intended to be left unattended
while performing an operation.
This document does not apply to transportable wall saws that employ hydraulic systems.
This document does not apply to hand-held cut-off machines.
NOTE 101 Hand-held cut-off machines will be covered by a future part of IEC 62841-2.

EN-IEC 62841-2-3 applies to hand-held grinders, disc-type polishers and disc-typesanders, including angle, straight and vertical tools, intended for use on various materials except magnesium, with a rated capacity not exceeding 230 mm. For grinders, the rated no load speed does not exceed a peripheral speed of the accessory of 80 m/s at rated capacity.This standard does not apply to dedicated cut-off machines. This standard does not apply to orbital polishers and orbital sanders.

1 Scope

EN-IEC 60335-2-71 deals with the safety of all kinds of electrical heating appliances used for livestock rearing and breeding, such as: heat-radiating appliances, electrical sittinghens, incubators, chicken breeding units and heating plates for animals, the rated voltage of the appliances being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances.

EN-IEC 62115 specifies safety requirements for electric toys that have at least one function dependant on electricity, electric toys being any product designed or intended, whether or not exclusively, for use in play by children under 14 years of age. Additional requirements for experimental sets are given in Annex A. Additional requirements for electric toys incorporating optical radiation sources are given in Annex E. Measurement methods for electric toys generating electromagnetic fields (EMF) are given in Annex I. Additional requirements for the safety of remote-controls for electric ride-on toys are given in Annex J. If the packaging is intended to have play value then it is considered to be part of the electric toy. This International Standard only covers the safety aspects of electric toys that relate to an electrical function. This standard covers the safety of electric toys taking power from any source, such as batteries, transformers, solar cells and inductive connections.

Deals with the safety of electric outdoor barbecues for household and similar use, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V. This standard does not apply to barbecues for indoor use, appliances intended to burn charcoal or similar combustible fuels, appliances intended exclusively for industrial purposes, appliances intended to be used in locations where special conditions prevail, such as the presence of a corrosive or explosive atmosphere (dust, vapor or gas).

Appliances intended for normal household and similar use and that may also be used by laymen in shops, in light industry and on farms are within the scope of this standard. However, if the appliance is intended to be used professionally to process food for commercial consumption, the appliance is not considered to be for household and similar use only. As far as is practicable, this standard deals with the common hazards presented by appliances that are encountered by all persons in and around the home. However, in general, it does not take into account - persons (including children) whose - physical, sensory or mental capabilities; or - lack of experience and knowledge prevents them from using the appliance safely without supervision or instruction; - children playing with the appliance.

This International Standard specifies requirements for appliances for household and similar purposes to prevent the backsiphonage of non-potable water into the water mains. It also specifies requirements for hose-sets used for connecting such appliances to the water mains that supply water at a pressure not exceeding 1 MPa.
